Obituary
Patricia “Pat” L. (O’Hara Caldwell) Cousineau, age 75, died of natural causes on December 30th, 2021 in Port Orange, FL.
Pat is survived by her loving spouse Art Cousineau, originally of Pittsburgh Pa, Her sister Eileen O’Hara Driscoll also of Pittsburgh PA, her 6 children Molly Caldwell, Stephanie Cousineau, Art Cousineau Jr., Susan Caldwell Scharrenberg (Doug Henson), Beth Caldwell (Tony Pierce) and David Cousineau (Kristy Cousineau). Pat was most proud of being “Nunna” to her 11 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Dorothy E Sill O’Hara and James Hugh O’Hara, and by her Brother James F. O’Hara (Diana Klocek O’Hara) all of Pittsburgh PA.
Pat was born on March 1, 1946 in Pittsburgh PA, and worked as a stay at home mom, an in -home products saleswoman and a Registered Nurse throughout her lifetime. She started each day with her morning coffee and reading her bible. Pat loved to solve crossword puzzles, playing word games and playing (and often winning!) online word games with her online friends. She had a wonderful singing voice and loved to sing, enjoying all genres of music from gospel to top 40 to the “oldies.” Her passion for painting really ignited after her move from PA to FL in 2009, there she enrolled in several art classes and had been refining her work up until the day she passed. Pat was a good friend to all. She was calm in a crisis and always had room for one more at the table when there was a need. Those that felt lost seemed drawn to her and she helped many find their way in life. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren, and spent hours on the phone and video chatting with her children and grandchildren living in PA. She was the life of the party wherever she went. Her humor and quick wit will not be forgotten. Pat will be remembered as a loving Spouse, Sister, Mother, Nunna and Friend. She will be missed.
The viewing is scheduled for Monday, January 10th 2022 from 1pm-3pm at Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society at 620 Dunlawton Ave, Port Orange FL, 32127. Reception to follow -details to be announced. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Pat’s life.
