Obituary

Patricia DePietro, 74, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2022.  She is predeceased by her husband Anthony, brother Steve and parents Lillian and Steve.  She is survived by her two daughters, Sandy (Ron) and Michele (Ned), two grandsons Thomas and Nicholas.

Other members of her beloved family include her sister-in-law, Susan, nieces Amanda, Skylar and nephew Chris. Sister-in-law, Patty (Vince), niece Dawn, nephews Alan and Angelo.  Brother-in-law Ron (Sarah), niece Meredith, nephews Andrew and Christian. Many cousins, friends, and neighbors.

Pat grew up in northern New Jersey.  She graduated from Franklin High School and Newark Nursing School.  She had a very successful 40+ year career in Nursing Administration and finally achieved her dream of completing her master’s degree.

She met her late husband Tony at Seaside Heights on the Jersey Shore.  They shared over 50 years of marriage, enjoying time with family, entertaining and traveling.  Seaside was a special place for Pat and her family, no matter where she lived, the boardwalk always found a way onto her plans when visiting New Jersey.

Pat loved traveling and cruising, she had been to many different places in her lifetime.  When she retired, she moved to The Villages where she became very active in her neighborhood, hosting events and entertaining.  She loved games, joining groups, playing Samba and Mahjong.  She developed a strong passion for Water Volleyball and enjoyed organizing teams.  She loved helping new players develop, then watching them flourish.  All these activities helped her build wonderful bonds of friendship that she was grateful for and cherished.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 25th from 11am-1pm at the Rohan Recreation Center, 850 Kristine Way, The Villages, FL 34785

I have wonderful memories of the time that I worked with Pat at LRH. She was a great mentor and friend. Her true loves were her family and her career. She excelled at both. She will be missed ❤️

Pat was a great support to me when she headed the Logan operating Room. I was an Easterner and had graduated nursing in Philadelphia area and also loved the Jersey shore. She was a very caring and accepting lady that always saw the best in others. I'm sure she will be missed by her family and friends but will be consoled by the knowledge that she and Tony are together again. Love and condolences to you all.
