I love you so much. I wish I could have visited more. I want to thank you for loving me unconditionally. My earliest memories were at Roy CT. From reading books with you at the kitchen table, singing silly songs, and riding with uncle Henk on his lawn mower. Another special memory was going to vegas with you for my 21st birthday. I remember you giving me pointers at the slot machines and buying me my first “legal” drink. I hope you know regardless of distance or time that you’ve always been dear to me. I love sharing these sweet memories with my daughters. Thank you for showing me a great example of what a loving mother and grandmother. I am sad you’re gone but I’m at peace knowing you are free of pain and back with your best friend. I love you. I will always love you. My sweet Auntie Pat

Aunt Pat’s smile was the best. The picture also captures the way Roman looked at her. He was so drawn to her.

    Aunt Pat,
You were one of the best people who have ever graced this Earth. Smart, funny, strong, independent, curious, and loving- I look up to you and hope pieces of your spirit have rubbed off on me to carry on through life. I loved hearing about your adventures around the world. You had such a curiosity and respect to learn about others. I’ll also miss seeing your smile and hearing your laugh. Your joy was so authentic and infectious. I remember the way Roman instantly light up around you. He was drawn to you. Kids just knew you were an angel. I miss you so much, but I know you’re in a better place without any pain. I can’t begin to explain the impact you’ve had on my life. I would have been lost without you. Thank you for giving me the foundation to build a happy, healthy life on. I’ll forever carry on your memory.

    I love you forever,
    Ashley
