Obituary

Patricia Gail (Young) Morgan, 69 Of Winter Park, Florida, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024 just three days after her 69th birthday and just four months after her diagnosis of glioblastoma. Pat knew the odds, but she endured treatment in order to spend as much time with her two boys as possible.

Pat was born in Tennessee to Gerald and Lee Young on August 8, 1955. They moved to Florida in 1960. She was a graduate of Seminole High School and Florida Technological University.

Pat worked many positions for Florida Hospital until the late 80’s when she was given the opportunity to start an Oncology/Hematology practice with her friend and neighbor, Dr. Rebecca Moroose.

Pat was extremely proud of this opportunity, and she managed this practice for over 20 years.

She loved the beach, boating, and growing flowers in her yard. She also loved so many pets and over the years she dedicated as much time to the church and other community events as possible. But with all her accomplishments, she was the proudest of the birth of her Twin Sons, Cole Morgan and Kyle Morgan, she cherished them with every breath.

She is survived by her loving husband, Hank Morgan of Winter Park, Florida; her Twin Sons, Kyle Morgan and Cole Morgan of Winter Park, Florida; her mother, Lee Young; and her brother, Dean Young along with her nephews, Wes and Matthew.

Pat was a special person that always cared about everyone else, she went out of her way to help anyone she could. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all.

We lost our loved one that truly was the One.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date

Pat, was beautiful person. She loved people and Dancing, clapping her hands having a great time at all the townhalls. She was sincere, she would smile and walk around saying good morning. how are you today... do you need anything so genuine for sure. You don't see that sincerity now a days, but she always had your back and loved to give hugs. I will never forget her. sorry I just found Friday about her passing. May she rest in peace, and I know she is in the gardens of Heaven. God Bless

I've waited before writing about Pat. The vacant part in my life is pronounced. Pat always had nice things to say to me. A list of special things about Pat would be so long, as not to be able to list on this space. Let me share just a few.
    Her laugh. Contagious.
Her smile. You could tell it was real.
Her goodness. Said good things about people.
Her caring. Loved her family and everyone connected to it.
Her pets. A dog or cat was lucky to have Pat as their caretaker in life.
Her extreme love for fried cabbage. This was legionary. Would walk around her house eating fried cabbage. Especially, if Betty cooked it for her.
The world will be a little bright, without Pat Morgan in it. I know mine is already.
    I will miss her.

People come and go in life; however, some just stand out in our memories.
Pat was one of those people. Her smile, her laugh, and her heart above all.
I am grateful to have been a co-worker.
Godspeed you boys, husband and family!

We are heartbroken by the loss of our dear friend Pat Morgan. We grew up together from the time we were young adults, and her presence will be greatly missed. Her strength and grace in the face of her illness was truly inspiring, and her love for her family and friends knew no bounds.

A devoted wife to Hank and a loving mother to her cherished boys Cole and Kyle, her love for her family was evident in everything she did.

Pat's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her, and her memory will continue to bring comfort and warmth to those who loved her. Pat's kindness and caring nature touched the lives of all who knew her, and her impact will never be forgotten.

To Hank, Cole, and Kyle, we love you very much and our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May you find solace in the memories you shared with Pat and in the love that will always remain.

Rest in peace, dear Pat, we love you will be deeply missed.
