Obituary

Patricia G. Thibodeau, 74, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on March 24, 2022 at Hope Hospice House. She was born on January 31, 1948 in Ware, Massachusetts to the late Homer Fountain and Gertrude (Senecal) Fountain. Patricia grew up in Ware, Massachusetts
before eventually moving to Leesburg, VA, with her husband Robert (Bob) R. Thibodeau. She spent most of her working career as a county clerk at the Loudon County Voter Registration office. She enjoyed serving the residents of Leesburg for over 20 years, where she made life long friends. Patricia lived an active life, loving to be outdoors and playing with her grandchildren. She was a kid at heart and always had a great time and positive outlook on life.

Upon retirement in 2013, Patricia and Robert moved to Fort Myers, FL to live out their retirement years. They were married for over 31 years before his passing in February 2018. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Tammy Cassavant and her husband Mark of Ware, MA; and her 3 stepchildren, Kathy Gale of Lehigh Acres, FL; Steven Thibodeau and his wife Vilma of Greenville, SC; Matthew Thibodeau and his wife Logan of Fort Myers, FL. Patricia had 5 brothers, including 3 that preceded her, Paul Fountain, Richard Fountain, Billy Fountain, as well as 2 that survived her, David Fountain and Don Fountain. Patricia also had many grandchildren and nieces and nephews that will miss her dearly.

Visitation were held on March 31, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, 4320 Colonial Blvd, Ft. Myers, FL. Patricia’s Funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 11:00 am at the St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2514 Lee Blvd., Lehigh Acres, FL. Patricia and her late husband Robert will be buried in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Ware, MA.
