Obituary

Patricia Wells, 79 of Winter Garden, Florida passed away at her residence on Sunday, February 28, 2016.  She is survived by her husband Anthony D Wells (married 57 years), David Wells (son), wife Leslie Wells, Tom Wells (son), wife Betsey Wells both of Greensboro, NC, Kathy Cross (daughter) of Matthews, NC, Karen Dwyer (daughter), husband Chris Dwyer of Clermont, FL and eight grandchildren; Brennen, Aaron, Casey, Jack, Nick, Caroline, Katie and Kelly.

She was a loving, wife, mother and grandmother.  In her lifetime, she was a school teacher, tutored children on Broadway and was involved in numerous volunteer and charitable activities.  Her main love was her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org)

    Pat was a very close sorority sister to mine in college. There were four of us: Pat, Ellie, Bobbie and myself. We have always kept in touch over the years. Bobbie, Ellie and I few to Florida for a wonderful reunion at Pay and Tony’s lovey home. We also were together at our 50th college reunion, and it was awesome! Tony, I will be thinking of you as you deal with the enormous grief I know you are feeling. Also, for your kids are their families, my prayers are with you all. Pat will always live in my heart!     Pat and Tony were the friends that welcomed us and helped us settle into Venice. We went out together sometimes and would see each other at church. I worked for Tony for over 15 years and we had a terrific relationship. Pat was a wonderful, thoughtful lady.
    Carol and I have missed them since their relocation to the Orlando area. Our prayers are with Tony and we take solace in the knowledge that Pat is no longer suffering and is at peace in her new home
