Patty had a personality that was larger than life and a friend to everyone she met. She raised her family in Rochester, NY, and eventually moved to Trinity, FL, where she worked for Publix. Patty always wanted to live at the beach and spent a few years at Panama City Beach, FL, before she moved to Ormond Beach, FL.

Patty is survived by her devoted husband, Eugene J Heaney, her three children Michelle (Scott) Cooper, Russ (Kate) Heaney, and Christine (Manny) Margiotta, her two brothers Thomas (Nancy) Linn, and Ray (Barbara) Linn. Patty was an amazing Grammy to her seven granddaughters, four grandsons, and a great-granddaughter.

Due to COVID 19, a memorial will be planned in the future.

    Dear Gene and family,
I was so saddened to hear that Patty passed away. She was an amazing lady with a generous and big heart. I have the best memories working with her at Publix, we would get ourselves in sticky situations and laugh about it until our bellies hurt! I feel lucky that I had her as a dear friend. I will miss her!❤️ Sending prayers and hugs, R.I.P. Patty With loving memories, Bonnie Taylor and family.

Grammy, I miss you so deeply every single day. I always try to find a way to connect with you. I know our bond will never be broken. I feel strongly that your soul is at peace and that gives me comfort. I would give anything to give you one last hug. Losing you comes with the most grief I have ever felt. Someone told me grief is the price you pay for love and I believe that is so true. I love you to the moon and back. I know you're still here with me in spirit.
