Paul A. Tracy Sr., age 72, of Ocala, FL and formerly of Branford, CT, passed away at his home on Monday, April 17, 2023.  Paul was born October 24, 1950 to Delmer and Beatrice Tracy in Caribou, Maine.

Paul had many career paths, working in numerous factories and was accomplished as a maintenance technician in Glen Burnie, MD for many years.

He was in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1970, a paratrooper, serving with the 173^rd Airborne Brigade in Vietnam from 1969-1970.  During this time, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the Combat Infantry Badge, both of which he was very proud.

In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased in death by his sons Paul Jr., and Matthew, his sister Josephine, sister Donna and brother David.

Paul is survived by his daughter Jessica Tracy of New London, CT, three granddaughters, Caitlin, Samantha and Emma, five grandsons, Nicholas, Frederik, Matthew Jr., Bradley, and Benjamin.  He had five greatgrandchildren, Anthony Jr., Layla, Cayden, Jackson and Adalyn.  He also had a special daughter in law, Jennifer Tracy.  Paul is also survived by his Brother Delmer Jr. (Patricia) Tracy of Fayetteville, NC, sister Betty (Ken) Laux of Bryant, IN and brother Randy Tracy of The Villages, FL.  He also left behind his companion and loving pet, Josephine.

Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery (Bushnell) on Thursday, June 29, 2023 11:AM with military honors.  It is requested that attendees arrive at the cemetery no later than 10:30.  Arrangements entrusted with BALDWIN BROTHERS Funeral & Cremation Society-Spanish Springs, 352-430-1449.  Sentiments are encouraged at www.baldwincremation.com.
