Obituary

With earthly sorrow, but heavenly joy, we share the passing of Paul G. Lindquist (80) on July 15 at his home in The Villages, FL, where he enjoyed living for the past five years. He formerly lived in Cumberland, RI for five decades. Paul was the loving husband of Martha E. (Wolf) Lindquist for 58 years and the son of the late Harry G. and Dorothy E. (Galloway) Lindquist. Paul graduated from Providence Country Day School and received his BS and MBA degrees from Bryant College (Univ.) He spent his working years as purchasing manager for several large RI manufacturing companies. Paul was previously a member of the RI Army National Guard and a long time trustee of the North Cumberland Fire Department. He leaves with pride and lots of love his daughter Stephanie D. Larsen of Brooklyn, NY, and his son Scott E. Lindquist and his wife Dara of Orlando, FL, and his cherished grandson Henning Michael Lindquist. Paul was a member of Lake Deaton United Methodist Church in Wildwood, FL. Besides family, Paul enjoyed old western movies, keeping his grass green, his garden blooming and his model trains chugging along. If you wish to honor Paul with a memorial gift, please consider Vitas Healthcare (Hospice), 1950 Laurel Manor, Ste. 135, The Villages, FL 32162 or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, P.O. Box 22324, NY, NY 10087. “He that believes in Me shall never perish but have eternal life.” John 3:15

I'm so sad to hear of Paul's passing. He was such an incredible person! I worked with Paul at Kenney Manufacturing years ago. I would see him at the Arnold's Mills Parade at the same spot every year after I ran the road race. My sincere condolences to his family. The world lost a Gem!
