My condolences to Paul’s family. I’m a little in shock as I find it hard to reconcile a friend my age is gone so soon. I met Paul on the driving range at Boulder Country Club where I was a member and he was an employee. This was the summer before our sophomore year in High school. I would play for the girls team and he for the men’s team throughout our time at Fairview. We became friends and luckily got to continue that friendship at the University of Kansas. He was the kindest guy and always had a joke or funny line to shoot my way. I enjoyed the time we had together and will forever remember him with fondness. I will miss the chance of getting to reconnect at future reunions, but I’m sure I will get to reminisce with other friends from high school and college as he left an impactful impression! God bless you all and give you strength to make it through this difficult time and know you all are in my prayers!
    Sincerely,
    Jessica (Thompson) Meek

    Julia and Beth,
My heart is broken for you. Paul just messaged me on my birthday (he never forgot) and we were looking forward to more adventures in the future. I am thankful for all the happy memories we have made. You will always be so special to us. If you ever need anything at all we will be there for you. I know that in life there are good times and bad, and I am so thankful for all the good times we shared as a group! We love you!
    - Carrie, Travis, Gavin and Hannah
