Obituary
Paul Robert Kocher, 88, resident of North Ft. Myers, FL, passed away on June 21, 2022 at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, FL, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on September 4, 1933, in Moundsville, WV, son of the late Paul and Virginia Kocher.
He was a machinist for years at Blaw Knox Foundry, and had his own business in Adena, Ohio. He was a Methodist by faith.
In 1999 after retirement, he moved to North Ft. Myers, FL, and he loved the beach. He worked as a security guard for several companies. He loved working, he was very active and never wanted to quit his job to enjoy retirement. His job/work made him very happy. He loved his dogs and cats.
He belonged to several organizations: Osiris Shrine, Jesters and he was President of the Belmont Shrine Club.
In addition to his parents, Paul and Virginia, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou, daughter, Kathy Ecker and a sister, Dorothy Rife.
Surviving are his three children, Vicki (Daniel) McFarland, Barb (Gary) Selby, and Bob (Jenni) Kocher, sister, Susie (Art) Stricklin and brother Sam (Debbie) Kocher, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
A Celebration of Life is being held at the convenience of the family, on July 30, 2022, at the Osiris Shrine Temple with Reverend Mark A. Zelewicz officiating.
