Obituary
Paul Spallina of Fort Myers, FL passed away on November 21, 2017, at the age of 65. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 21, 1952, the son of Edward and Faust Spallina.
Paul graduated from Mahopac High School then attended Paterson State College. He worked in New York, NY for many years before moving to Fort Myers and completed his career as a building superintendent at Riva Del Lago. Paul will be remembered for his big personality and even bigger heart with an innate ability to entertain with his stories, jokes, song and dance. He was a choral singer, actor, avid swing dancer, member of the premier doo wop group Chicago Heat and performed in many plays and musicals at the Cape Coral Cultural Park Theater.
Paul is survived by his loving partner, Rosemary Carpenter; mother, Faust Spallina; siblings, Edward (Karen), Joseph, and Anna Marie Spallina; nephews, Joseph P. (Trishia) and Matthew Spallina (Laura); nieces, Susan S. Twaddell (Oliver) and Jillian Spallina; grandnieces, Elizabeth, Carly Ann, Annabel and Savannah; as well as his many close friends and extended family.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10: 00 AM, April 14, 2018 at North American Martyr’s Chapel; located on Oscawana Lake Rd in Putnam Valley, NY with a memorial luncheon to follow at Putnam County Golf Course on locates on Hill Street in Mahopac, NY.
