Obituary

Pauline C. Folsom, 93, passed away on Friday evening April 17, 2020. Pauline was a longtime resident of Hillsborough County. She was the daughter of Frederick and Leila Eugenia Hampton Clark. She was born in Plant City, Florida on July 28, 1926.

Her family moved to Georgia shortly after her birth but then returned approximately 11 years later after her father passed away. It was is in Florida that she met her husband Kendrick H Folsom, Sr. Kendrick and Pauline were part of the “Greatest Generation”.  Kendrick served during WWII in the US Army and received multiple decorations..  Kendrick and Pauline were married for almost 63 years. They are survived by their children Kendrick H (Gaye) Folsom Jr., Ronald Joseph (Lyn ) Folsom and Virginia Paulette Folsom Garwacki. Though no longer married to her daughter Paulette, Dan Garwacki remains part of the family and did much to aid Pauline in her later years.

Pauline was preceded in death by seven sisters and three brothers. Her sisters were Effie, Cate, Grace, Sally, Daisy, Cleo and Jo. Her brothers were Turner, Ted and Virgil.

Pauline passed away at the home of her elder son Kendrick “Harry” Folsom in Ocala Florida. Her grandchildren are Heather Folsom: McClellan, Kendrick H Folsom III, Brian Folsom, Kelly Folsom Gomes, Lanette Garwacki, Jason (deceased) Garwacki, Richard Garwacki and Justin Garwacki. She has 14 great grandchildren  and two great-great grandchildren. That meant she had 5 generations including herself.

Even though she did not have the Covid-19 virus there will be no funeral service or graveside service at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fl, where she will be interred.  Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations, 11250 SW 93rd Ct. Rd. Ocala, FL 352-236-7813.
