Obituary
Peggy Ann [Laupp] Walters, formerly from Marshall, where she had lived most of her life, passed away unexpectedly October 27, 2018 at her home in Palm Coast, Florida, where here husband and her had resided since their retirements moving there in 2014.
She was born in Marshall December 13, 1951 to Robert Wendell Laupp, who preceded her on October 1, 2018 and Dorothy Langridge Laupp who preceded her in April of 2006.
She attended Hewitt and Marlee Schools, graduating from Marshall High School in 1970. She married her high school sweetheart Keith Walters in Marshall on November 14, 1969 and have enjoyed almost 49 years of marriage.
She loved her career as a Bus Driver for Marshall Public Schools, retiring after 37 years of superior service. She loved talking about her younger years growing up in a loving home along the creek bank with her siblings. How her Dad could fix anything or make it work and her mother’s beautiful gardens of produce, especially her dill pickles. Her favorite memories of playing on the rope swing and jumping off into Rice Creek.
She was preceded by her parents and a nephew Todd Smith in 1995. Surviving are her husband Keith Walters of Palm Coast, Florida; Children, Eric and Trish Walters of Marshall, MI and Daughter Michelle[Mickey] Walters-Westra of Nuevo Arenal, Costa Rica and Palm Coast Florida. Grand children Morgan Walters of Palm Coast, Florida and Brian Alan Spencer of Marshall, MI. Great grand son Maverick Canavan of Palm Coast, Florida. Siblings David [Maureen] Laupp of Arizona, Wendy [John, Deceased] Horsman of Union City, MI. and Tommy [Vicki] of Marshall, Mi. and numerous nieces and nephews and also Life long friend to both Keith and Peggy, David Begg of Marshall, MI.
Memorial Services in Marshall are pending and announced at a later date.
