Obituary
Port Orange— Peter Robbins Wallace, 76, died Sunday, December 10, 2017 at home.
He leaves his wife of 54 years, Lona (Precourt) Wallace- the love of his life; his sons Pat Wallace (Kristin), Peter Wallace (Adrienne), and Jim Wallace (Marge) and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Norman and Neola and his brothers David and Larry.
Mr. Wallace graduated from West Genesee High School, served In the US Navy on destroyers then went onto working for Millbrook Strohman for 29 years. Afterwards, the Wallace’s moved to Florida and in his retirement worked as a security guard for 17 years at the Speedway, sang the national anthem several times and made some wonderful friends. He had a passion for animals, classical music, tiki bars, real estate and boating.
Services will be held at Heritage Place at Baldwin Brothers, 620 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange on December 29 at 1:00 pm. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 pm until the start of the service. He will be laid to rest with military honors at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at 3:00 pm that afternoon.
