Obituary

Peter Louis Sypien passed away peacefully at Hospice of St Francis on Saturday June 25, 2021. Peter was a devoted Father and Husband, loved and adored by all who met him. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of almost 35 years, Barbara of Titusville and their daughter Justine Waughtel (John) of Jacksonville. Peter was pre-deceased by his parents Louis Valentine Sypien and Caroline Adeline Sypien.

Peter was born and raised in Queens, New York, attended Carle Place High School and lived in Westbury, New York until he was able to retire early from New York Telephone company and move to Titusville in 1991.

Peter was an avid cruiser, spending over 85 cruises with his wife sailing on Disney Cruise Line. Spending time in the pool and sipping a great scotch was some of his favorite past times, he always had a great tan and an even greater smile. He was also a member of the Titusville Elks, American Legion and Eagles.

No ceremony or funeral will be held, per Peter’s final wishes.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Hospice of St Francis-Reflections in Titusville in Peter’s name.
