Obituary

Polly Jill Matsumoto, 78, of Ft. Myers, FL passed away on March 18, 2019 at her residence. She was born on May 22, 1940 in Ripley, OH to Virgil and Margaret (Dyer) Adamson. Polly was an Artist and was a Co-founder of BIG ARTS on Sanibel Island. She was a supporter of local and national art, nature conservation, and of course wild and domestic animal nonprofits. Polly enjoyed traveling, gardening, painting, weaving, knitting, horseback riding, animals, and ceramics. She is survived by her son, Bin Matsumoto; her son Tai Matsumoto and his wife Bonita; her daughter, Amy Jill Matsumoto Urich and her husband Steve; her mother, Margaret Moe; her grandchildren, Hunter, Sydney, Dakota, Piper and Christopher Matsumoto, and Sierra Urich; and her niece, Kellie (Matsumoto) Ferris. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Affordable Cremations by Baldwin Brothers, Ft. Myers, FL.
