Obituary

Randy D. Fields, age 63, died peacefully at home on December 6, 2021, in Wildwood, FL.

Randy is survived by his wife Debra, they were married on February 14, 2009, in Marathon, FL; his daughter Louwana (Anthony) Robinson of Edwardsburg, Michigan; two sisters Sheila Garrison, Beverly (William) Bridwell of Elkhart, Indiana; Granddaughter Savannah Minnick and grandsons Logan Robinson and Harold Robinson; stepson Thomas (Inez) Diliberti; step grandchildren Desiree, Autumn and Jonathan Diliberti and Tamara Murray; 3 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother Genolia B (White) Fields and his father, Harold W. Fields of Mishawaka, Indiana; stepson Cliffton Diliberti of Elkhart, Indiana.

Randy was born on November 2, 1958, in Hayti, Missouri to parents Harold Fields and Genolia B. Fields (White). He graduated from Mishawaka High School in Mishawaka, Indiana 1978. Randy went to work for Conn-Selmer building musical instruments till retiring in 2004. One of his proud accomplishments is he was part of a team that built the saxophone that was presented to President Clinton. He always said he had no way to prove it but he knew he did it.

Randy was a great family man and loving father who was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved playing with his grandchildren and never met a stranger in his lifetime.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date and time.

    I came to know Randy just in the past year. He was a treasure and I wished I had known him longer. He was such a loving person with a heart that radiated his love for others. I’ll miss him and grateful for the time I spent with him.
