Obituary
Raymond Mollon, 58, Port Charlotte, FL, formerly from Brockton MA, passed away on September 2, 2020 after fighting a brave battle with cancer. Raymond is pre-deceased by his parents Gertrude and Donald Mollon, and his brother David Mollon. He is survived by his life partner and 20 year love Linda Robinson, their dog Rosie, sister-in-law Pauline, sister Donna (Flanagan) and husband Frank, sister Trisha (Reynolds) and husband Dick, sister Carmella (Pizziferri) and husband Domenic, sister Gail (O’Malley), many nieces and nephews, his life long friends Muzi and Claudine Husainy, Scott and Susan Mills.
Raymond was a Building Engineer and owner of Simon’s Hot Dogs, Boston. He was a kindhearted soul who was always here to help anyone in need. Whether it was family, friends, or a stranger, he never let anyone go hungry when we had the hot dog business. Money was not important. He always believed in doing good for others as it was the right thing to do, and never for praise or adulation. A quality that not everyone knew about. He had a great laugh, strong opinions, and a great sense of humor. His favorite things were walking the dogs along the ocean in Plymouth MA, going to Washington D.C and the Big E on vacation. A Patriots fan and Formula One enthusiast.
Raymond is an Army Veteran and has served his country proudly.
Heaven has received a true Angel and he will be forever missed but always in our heart.
Memorial services for Raymond are to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the animal rescue facility of your choice.
