Regina "Jean" Singer (Neuman), 89, of On Top of The World died January 2, 2015. Jean was born September 9, 1925 in Staten Island, NY. She moved to Miami and married Paul Singer.
Jean dedicated 30 years to teaching first grade at Biscayne Gardens Elementary School in Miami. She spent the summers up in North Carolina. Among the activities she enjoyed were square dancing, tennis, dominoes, bingo, bocce, cards, knitting, volunteer work, the American-Jewish Club, yard sales, and spending time with her family and friends. Jean was a devoted mother to Mindy and Howard and was madly in love with her granddaughter, Emily.
A memorial service will be held from 1-3PM, Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Arbor Club at On Top of the World. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her favorite charity, We Who Care of Marion County Inc. (Carol Viano, president - 390 NE 57th St Ocala, FL 34479). The family would like to thank all Jean's dear friends for their support and the wonderful staff at the Legacy Hospice House for making her last days comfortable and peaceful.
