Rene will be remembered as the handsome, smart, caring, talented and witty young man I first married. In the early days together his "League of Nations" friends were Polish, French, German, Italian and Cuban to name a few. As diverse as everyone was, Rene's sense of humor and wittiness brought laughter to the group. Rene's greatest enjoyment was his talent to play drums.
Having a strong family value, he was devoted to his mother, father and younger sister helping them navigate a bi-lingual life style. Working a stressful job and coming home from his night shift, Rene would often take charge of the bottle feeding for Christopher, his first born and oldest son. From that time forward, Rene and Christopher shared a unique and special bond that will not end.
Rene will remain in the hearts of those who loved and cared about him.

TO my son, Christopher, and the family my sincere and deepest condolences.

"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18)

    Mary Falcone Medina Jurasek

I have fond memories of Rene playing drums in the The Dark Side band with Gerard; of visiting with Rene's parents and of many good times with Mary and Rene in our teens and early twenties! We had a lot of laughs. Gerard and I offer our sincere condolences and pray that Rene and his family find solace.

Dear Rene, you were my first Brother in law in Boston. I will always remember what a fine Boston Police Officer you were. Also remember all those Spanish rice dishes you cooked. May God rest your soul and keep you in his care. You are gone from us too soon.
