Rhiannon Dawn Fraser, 20, of Port Orange, Florida passed away peacefully in the morning hours of Thursday, April 8, 2010. Rhiannon was born November 10, 1989 in Yonkers, NY. She moved to Edgewater with her family in 1992. She was currently a student at Daytona State College majoring in Art and was adding formal music course’s in the future. Attended New Smyrna High School and Spruce Creek High School. Rhiannon was a self taught artist. At age 7 she taught herself opera through the amazing sounds of Charlotte Church. Later she joined The Stetson University Children’s Choir in Deland and at 13 was considering auditioning for the Julliard School in NYC when encouraged by a private voice mentor. She was a championship Irish Step Dancer and competed in the South Eastern Regional States and Canada. She extremely loved the Harry Potter book series, Dr. G. Medical Examiner, astronomy, Discovery, Health, History and Science Channels. She spent most of her free time playing World of Warcraft with her twin brother Damien and best friend and soul mate David. She loved all things technical and mechnical with her older brother Ian and fashion and decorating days with her older sister Genevieve. She loved Gothic country art, the workings of the human body, video games, driving and her new tattoo machine. She loved swimming and surfing. She loved all things living and loved her dog Timpleton and her parrot Thermopolis. She had a strong heart and soul, was an independent and progressive thinker, open minded and a will power like no one else. Her favorite place to go was Barnes & Noble. Her loving siblings Ian, Genevieve and Damien are naming a star in the cosmos in her honor. Rhiannon is survived by her loving parents, Jeannette Fraser and John Fraser, step dad John Gray Jr of Deltona, twin brother, Damien Fraser of Deltona, sister, Genevieve Fraser of Port Orange, brother, Ian Fraser and fiance Beca Ruger of Palm Coast; paternal grandparents, William and Marie Fraser of Yonkers, NY; step grandparents, William and Carol Gray of Debary, step uncle, Douglas Gray of Orange City, step aunt, Corene Beehnar of Debary, uncles, William Fraser and John Torpey of NY and aunts, Marie Bachmann and Jeanette Riniti of NY, a great aunt Lillian Hills of Newburyport, Mass, and many cousins in Fla, N.Y. and Mass. maternal grandparents John and Ethel Torpey of Yonkers, NY predeceased her many years ago.
Life Tribute service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 13 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Chapel 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until service time.
Rhiannon was such a special girl and a beautiful heart , she will really be missed . I miss youall.
