You are truly missed. Today would have been your 80th birthday. May the Lord bless your soul now and forever.
Love always,
~ Natalia (Chapa)
We lit a candle in his memory as one of our favorite native sons and keeper of our people’s flame.
As Ricardo’s juniors, and his brother Rogelio’s PHS ‘65 classmates, we witnessed his exceptional intellect and accomplishments, extraordinary leadership, and community service throughout our years in Santa Cruz (Gamboa) of the former Canal Zone and the United States.
Ricardo modeled compassion, caring, concern, and commitment to whomever he engaged with—the powerful and powerless, the strong and the weak. He uplifted, gave hope, and elicited the best in everyone.
We therefore memorialize Ricardo’s magnificent life with pride, honor, and love forever.
Our Gallao
Ricardo , you will forever be in our hearts.
Descanse en paz mi hermano amigo,
