Obituary

Richard Caramanica (71), of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 4, 2019.  Richard was born on September 2, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York, to Rinaldo and Josephine Caramanica.  He began his career in educational publishing, working in New York City for various well-known publishing houses.  He later became a real estate agent and continued to sell real estate until retirement.  In his later years, he enjoyed card games, the local newspaper, and spending time with his dear friend, Linda DiLeo.  He was also an active member of his church.

 

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and former wife.  He is survived by his children, Christine and Mark, his grandchildren, Kayla and Jacob, his twin brother, Gerard, and his friend, Linda.

 

Funeral services will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Palm Coast, Florida, on Saturday, August 24, 2019.  The family will greet friends at church beginning at 9:30 a.m., with mass to follow at 10:30 a.m.
