Obituary

Richard C Dumas “Dick”, Edgewater FL who died Saturday, October 9, 2010.    Richard was born in Worcester, Massachusetts. He came to this area in 2000 following retirement having owned and operated Clear Glass and Aluminum Company in Milford, MA for 30 years. His family recalled he always had a smile on his face. He had a passion for golfing, dancing with former wife Janet and smoking his pipe while admiring the intercoastal waterway. His family will always remember his love of peanut butter. Richard held memberships in Milford Masonic Lodge AF&AM, KCCH in the Scottish Rite Consistory, New Smyrna Elks and a Fraternal Order of Eagles Florida.   He leaves to cherish his memory a son Rick, Jr (Kim) Dumas of Edgewater FL, daughters Tracey (David) Ferguson of Mendon, MA, Robyn (David) Plouffe of Hopedale, MA, Lauren (Scott) Lyons of Uxbridge, MA, his former wife Janet Dumas of Daytona Beach, 15 grandchildren Brittany, Caitlyn, David Jr. (dj), Erik, Elisabeth Ferguson of Mendon Ma., Erika and Nicholas Dumas of Edgewater FL., Sydney, Sonnie, Sophie, Sage and Dylan Plouffe of Hopedale Ma., Micheal, Benjamin and Luke of Uxbridge Ma.,  and five nieces and nephews. 2:00 PM at Baldwin Brothers Cremation Society 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169 on October 24, 2010 (map/driving directions)

    I liked Dick he was always upbeat and a nice guy.He had a greeting that everyone liked, he would always say is everybody happy.I will miss Dick and I hope you and your family will continue on after his passing and keep him in your heart.

    I am sorry to hear about Dick's death, and will truly miss seeing him out and about with that ever present Pipe and a smile on his face.

    Sorry about Dick. He was a goog man and we will miss him, Going on cruise Sunday and will not be able to atend services, but we will be thinking of you
