Obituary

Richard L. (Dick) Charbonneau 83, passed from this life on February 25, 2018  at home. Richard was born on June 8th 1934 in Worcester, MA. His parents were Leo Charbonneau  and Beverly (Drury) Charbonneau.

He attended Worcester Public Schools and graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School with a major in Cabinet Making. While attending high school he played baseball and football.  After graduation he also played softball for many years in which he excelled.  After working in several cabinet shops he worked at  G&H Woodworking before going into business for himself  “Charbonneau Woodworking” at which he was very successful. Dick  made most of the furniture in his home. During his retirement he spent most of his days golfing and creating wooden pictures of various objects called Intarssia.  He is survived by his wife Maureen Sullivan-Charbonneau and 7 children by his first wife Lucille Robin married to Lee Mancini, Bonnie Paulhus, Rick married to Amy, Donna married to Gary Bouthillette,  Michael married to Letty and David married to Tracy.

Dick also had 4 stepchildren. Wayne Sullivan, Kathleen Prudente married to Joseph ,  Kyle Sullivan married to Debbie and Nancy Prudente married to John . Dick is also survived by 16 grandchildren and  5 great grandchildren.  Dick is predeceased by his wife Lucille Adams Charbonneau , daughter Debbie O’Conner and brother Alan Charbonneau After retirement Dick and Maureen moved to The Villages, Fl. in 2006.  He was an avid golfer who had many friends who will miss his sense of humor and beautiful  smile.  A celebration of life will be held in Massachusetts in the near future.

    Robin and family...I knew your parents way way back when. And I used to baby sit for all of you. I am so sad this happened the way it did. He is in a better place, so they say. Feel good in knowing you got to see him before this happened. Bless you all
