Celebration of Life for Richard Ellington Morris, 64, New Smyrna Beach FL who died Friday, May 22, 2009 will be 11:00 AM Monday, May 25 at Beachside Baptist Church with The Reverend Walter Allen officiating. Richard was born in Atlanta Georgia. He retired after 30 years of service from BellSouth. He was a graduate of Moody Bible Institute. Richard enjoyed fishing and walking in the woods; he was a jack of all trades and a master at repairing anything. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 45 years Darlene, daughter Kim Gilliland of Edgewater, son Audie Morris of Atlanta, Georgia, brothers Art Hine and Bubba Morris, sisters Bebe Hine, Brenda Daniels, Carol Dillard all of Atlanta, grandchildren Noah, Makayla, Jordan Smith, Kaitlyn and Kyle Morris and Shannon, Brandon and Jason Gilliland. Memorials are requested to Beachside Baptist Church 629 South Pine Street New Smyrna Beach FL 32169. 11:00 AM at Beachside Baptist Church 629 S.     This must be a horrible time for you all, my condolences. I truely hope you will find the strength to cope with your loss.Just to leave with brief words of comfort "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out,"- John 5:28,29.That's an assured promise from the true God, so cherish your memories and all the best.
