Richard Fernand Morrissette
June 28, 1958 – February 7, 2022
It is with heavy heart we announce the death of our loving husband and father. May peace be with him and may God welcome him into the Kingdom of Heaven. Funeral will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2022 11:00 AM at BALDWIN BROTHERS Funeral & Cremation Society, 1008 Bichara Boulevard, The Villages, FL 32159. United States Navy will render honors at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Sentiments may be left online at www.baldwincremation.com.
Richard was born in Manchester, NH on June 28, 1958. He is survived by his wife Maria Morrissette of Summerfield, FL. A devoted and loving father of sons Nathan (Carly) Morrissette of Spring Hill, FL, Mark Morrissette and Jason Morrissette of Summerfield, FL; daughter Kelly of Spring Hill, FL; grandchildren Trenton, Kyla, Camden, Christian, Sebastian, Lindsey and Bobby. Richard was on of first children; sisters Sandra Cormier of CA, and Debra Morrissette of Manchester, NH; brothers David Morrissette of Manchester, NH, and Alan Morrissette of Hookset, NH; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was a devoted friend to many. Richard graduated from Manchester Memorial High School with honors. He then joined the United States Navy and served 30 years, attaining the rank of Master Chief. His last employment was Sikorsky in CT. He loved attending church every Sunday. On of many passions Richard enjoyed was going to Nascar Races and watching them on TV. He loved riding his motorcycle every chance he got but his biggest passion was spending time with his dog Poggie. Richard will be dearly missed and always remembered by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
