We are so sorry for your loss. We Longs' have such fond memories of great times with your Dad. He was always up for taking all of us kids places, especially if the Shriners were performing! He was a great man and sure loved his girls. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Our prayers are with you as you celebrate the life of your beloved Dad, Father-in-law and Grandfather. Our hearts go out to you. May his memory bring you peace.
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Dick was such a fun-loving man and a wonderful person to know. I remember when he came to Ball State and all of us girls, in the dorm, met him for the first time...he was such a great Dad and we all wanted to adopt him as ours!!
I knew Rhonda had moved for a pro-golf position and I'm sure she and Dick had a lot of opportunity to play in Florida together. I'm so glad he got some sunshine in his life.
I pray that you all will be able to reflect on how many people he has touched through his years - it must be an enormous number of them. We were all very fortunate to have known and shared time with this gracious man.
God Bless you all.
Best regards,
Kelly (Burcham) Brooks - BSU friend from 1981

Carrie and I and all of us at Gulf Atlantic Vehicles extend our condolences to you and your family.
Dick always brightened up our shop when he came in with his constant smiling and up beat attitude.
He was also very gratious in helping us in Turnbull with the fliers.
He will be missed by us all.
