Obituary

Richard L. Dunmire, survived by wife, Sandra, daughter, son, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Richard was a teacher, business owner, and absolute friend to all. (in his words as a man of great faith) “went home” on October 26thafter 92 years. Richard left us peacefully under the loving care at Hope Hospice House.

    I was lucky enough to meet him in 1996 when I was in the 9th grade. He was a great educator and a great softball coach! I was saddened when I learned of his passing. He was such a nice person who deeply cared for his students and his family. Many years ago, his granddaughter befriended me and that was how I came to know him.

    Richard was a kind and loving man. I first met him at New Testament Baptist Church. Later to be at his flea market passing out tracks showing you the way to meet the Lord. He wanted everyone to know the Lord. He will be missed by all
