Obituary

Life celebration for Richard L. Braden, 84, Edgewater, Florida, who passed away peacefully at  home under the gracious care of Vitas Hospice, will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, July 21, 2016, at  Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place, 1 North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, Florida. 32169.
Richard was born in Ohio. He served our country in the United States Navy in Korea. He  received his bachelors degree from The University of Toledo, where he later worked as a  bookkeeper. After moving to Florida, he worked for the University of Central Florida. He served  as the Exalted Ruler of the Edgewater-New Smyrna Beach Elks Lodge #1557, from 2001-2002,  and then gave many years of volunteer service as a Past Exalted Ruler.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Sally, her children, Debbie Kincaid and William  Kone, and his children, John Braden, Ellie Fairchild, Robin Sorenson,Scott Braden and six  grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in his honor to the Children’s Therapy Service of the Florida  State Elks at www.FloridaElks.org.
