Obituary

Richard Oberlin Gray, 48, of Ocala passed away September 6, 2016 at his home.  Born in Paulding, Ohio, he moved to this area in 1969.  He was a graduate of Lake Weir High School, head mechanic at Batten Automotive and attended First United Methodist Church of Belleview.  Richard was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting and golf just to mention a few of his many activities.  He is survived by his loving wife, Renee; daughter, Lynikia S. Gray of Summerfield; mother, Margene (Corneliussen) Hopper and her husband Charles of Belleview; father, Richard Gray of Ocala; grandfather, Ernest O. Corneliussen of Lady Lake; sisters, Gloria Gray of Belleview and Sharon Roberts of Ocala; brother, Kent Hopper of Summerfield; grandsons, Gary Lane and Richard Logan Gray and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  A Celebration of Richard’s Life will be held on Sunday (Oct. 2nd) at the family residence.  For further details please contact Richard’s sister, Sharon 484-4089.  A condolence message may be left at www.baldwincremation.com .  Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers, Ocala 236-5884.

    Renee I know your heart is heavy with pain, I didn't know Rick but I'm sure he was a great man, I wish you didnt have this pain. Cherish the memories you had with Rick but most important remember the little things that just made you laugh and love him more. God bless you in this difficult time .
