Obituary
Richard Rzemieniewski passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Hope Hospice Care Shell Point surrounded by family and friends. Richard was born in the Bronx, NY on December 2, 1954. He was a supervisor at General Motors for 32 years; in Tarrytown, NY and Doraville, GA. He retired from General Motors in Doraville in 2008. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of over 42 years, Judee; 5 living children; Dirk Buck, Lori Deveau, Jason Woods, Jennifer Hill and Richard Rzemieniewski. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Jessica Gravitt. Richard has 15 grandchildren; James Bohlander, Brittany Buck, Michael Buck, Heather Wages, Ambere Buck, Ryan Labbe, Bethanie Deveau, Devon Gravitt, Steven Hill, Connor Gravitt, Mason Gravitt, Tessa Gravitt, Justin Rzemieniewski, Kingston Rzemieniewski and Bella Rzemieniewski.
Richard was raised by his parents Marilyn Rzemieniewski and Robert Rzemieniewski who survive him. He has a sister and brother; Donna Kidd and Michael Donaldson; step brothers and sisters and numerous nephews and nieces.
Richard was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved to teach his grandchildren and would take them hunting and fishing at any opportunity. While living in Fort Myers, FL he started his own business; Rick’s Jigs, and would sell them to bait shops in the area. Richard was well known on the Sanibel Fishing Pier and had many friends in Florida as well as Georgia and New York. He will be so missed by many in his community and anyone who crossed his path considered him a friend. He helped so many people and always had great advice. His family and friends will miss him tremendously.
A memorial service in celebration of Richard’s life will be held in Florida and in Georgia at a later date.

I came across a sign yesterday that said Heaven is a lot of hugs that last forever, i know you’re feeling the love and hugs from god and his angels every day.
