Robert Allen Gusky Obituary

July 19, 1949 to February 2, 2022

Robert Allen Gusky, 72, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 while in Hospice care in Ocala, FL. Robert was born in Elyria, Ohio to Richard and Joan Gusky on July 19, 1949. He is survived by his wife Linda, 4 children, Jill Suzanne Gusky-Deiser (Cameron), Robert Allen Gusky, Jr., Kristen Mae Gusky, Jessica Marie Gusky, 1 brother, Richard Gusky (Cindy), 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Joan, and his sister Nita Adams (Les).

After graduating high school, he was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran who served during Vietnam (1968 to 1972). He retired as an inspector with General Motors Corp. after 32 years. He was a grateful member of AA since June 11, 1996. He was a lifelong fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians.

Our family wishes to thank Hospice for their tender care in his time of need.

    Bob has been a great friend over the past 15 years he has seen our kids grow been Lydia’s fishing buddy and carried Brylee in many games of cornhole.
