Robert “Bob” R Robinson I
July 13,1936 – September 2,2022
Robert R Robinson 86, of Port Charlotte, FL, Formerly of Charlestown, MA, passed away on September 2, 2022.
Robert is survived by his son Donald Robinson and his Fiancé Donna Girouard of Connecticut, son Steve Robinson and wife Mercy Robinson of Arizona, daughter Linda Robinson of Florida, brother Edward Robinson and wife Helen Robinson of Massachusetts, daughter-in-law Nadine Robinson of Massachusetts, grandchildren Robert R Robinson III and wife Katrina Robinson of Massachusetts, Andrew Robinson of Arizona, Ashley Robinson of Florida, Amanda Muldoon and Husband Matthew, 12 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Robert is preceded in death by his wife Florence Happy Robinson, son Robert Randy Robinson Jr, sister Mary Little, brothers Andrew and Richard Robinson, and grandchild Daniel Robinson.
Bob was an outgoing guy with a great sense of humor. He was a loving husband and a family man. Affectionately known as Papa Bob. He was very proud to be a grandfather and a great grandfather. He was a baker at Lori-Ann Donut Shop in Charlestown for over 30 years and received the Best of Boston award for his amazing donuts. His fondest memories are weekend trips with his wife, family trips to Vegas, family card games, and of course hanging in the donut shop chatting with customers. A continual watcher and 50-year fan of The Price is Right. Bob was always there to help anyone who needed it, never asking for payment in return. His words of wisdom to his children were “handle it” and “get over it”. These words his children still live by. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and all those who he has touched throughout the years.
