Robert “Bob” Dahlen, 90, of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on February 23, 1934, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Marie and Herbert Dahlen, Bob lived a life marked by faith, dedication, and love for his family and community.
A proud graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Bob earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1955. Shortly after, he served his country with honor in the United States Army in 1957.
Bob was a man of quiet strength, integrity, and deep humility. He cherished his role as a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Nannine, and found his greatest joy in being a father to his four children and grandfather to six. He was immensely proud of his family, always sharing in their achievements and milestones with pride and affection.
In his memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org), an organization close to his heart. Services will be held privately at the discretion of his family.
