Obituary
Robert F. Lowe, Jr., 76 of New Smyrna Beach passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017 with his wife, Angie by his side. Robert was born June 7, 1941 in Galax, Virginia to the late Robert F. Lowe and Leta Brown Scanlon. The family lived in Virginia, Oregon, Arizona and South Florida. He served in the Army for 2 years in Germany as a Medic and Sharpshooter. Robert married the love of his life, Angie Rosario Lowe on October 2, 1976. They settled in Ft. Lauderdale, where he built their home of 25 years and raised their family.
Robert worked for Fire Sprinklers Inc. as a Superintendent, retiring after 30 years. He also co-owned and operated Victorian Reflections and A Place In Time stores in Miami and Weston. Robert enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle, NASCAR and was a member of Ducks Unlimited. Robert will be remembered for his quirky sense of humor, down to earth personality and love for life.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, CL Lowe and Susie Tice. Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Angie; devoted children, Traci Hancock and Brad Lowe and adored grandchildren; Marisa, Julia, Braden and Reese. The family will hold a private Celebration of Bob’s Life. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
