Obituary

Robert G Gross 78, of The Villages FL, passed away November 8, 2017 after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. 

 He was preceded in death by his son, James. 

 Robert is survived by his loving wife Barbara of 58 years, children Michael (Bernadette), Christine (Gene) Murray, Thomas (Debbie), Sharon (Tom) Harmon, Kathleen (Ed) Harmon, 15 grandchildren, brother Richard (Chris), sister Margaret Grady and the following deceased Raymond, James, Laverne, Norman, Elaine and Marylou. 

 Robert was born in Cleveland, OH, graduated from St. Edward HS, met Barbara, married and raised six children together. He proudly served in the 101st Airborne and spent a long and fulfilling career working for General Motors. 

 He and his wife retired to The Villages spending many wonderful years together golfing and enjoying life. 

 Services will be held on Monday, November 20 at 10:00 am  

St Mark Evangelical Catholic Church

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Robert’s memory to IMF (International Myeloma Foundation)

    My sincere condolences to your family on Bob's passing. He was my foreman at GM for many years. A nicer,understanding,and knowledgeable person you could ever meet. We've lost a fine soul.
