Today I learned that Bob died. He was my first friend in elementary school and we continued as friends for about thirty years. We had many fun, positive experiences together. Bob was one of the brightest persons I have known. He was always learning and for many years was reading a new book each day. Bob was concerned with the well-being of everyone he knew. He was the first to assist anyone who needed help in anything from mechanical repairs to supportive counseling. Bests, Mike Galbreath

The word friend has over the years been cheapened. But the real meaning of a friend is one who stands by you in good times and bad. One is lucky if one two or three people like that in their lives. Bob was such a person for me. He was my friend in the best sense of the word. We shared an office for many years. We talked about everything imaginable, not just criminal law--but philosophy, politics, sports--you name it. We played tennis together, and along with Deb we took several ski vacations together. We went out to eat together. Bob and Deb were like family to me.

To me, Bob's loss is irreplaceable. I consider myself lucky to have had him for a friend. Words are not sufficient to describe what a fine person he was. May he rest in peace and his memory lived with those who loved him.

I was so happy to see you and spend some time with you and Deb. I am glad you are not in pain anymore. Glad to make you laugh some also. See you on the other side, remember to move that penny.

Happy Birthday my brother, I was very, very proud of you and all that you had accomplished. Thank you for always letting me sleep with you in the middle of the nite when I was very young and afraid, you were my safe place. I am sorry for being the bratty sister and messing up your soldiers which you had so carefully put in place on the floor. I am so grateful you are pain free and with our Dad. Can't wait to see you again. All my love Dawny Brat.

Our great loss is Heaven’s gain! Bob was a terrific friend who had a heart of gold. Whenever you needed help, especially on the golf course or anything technical, Bob was there. His place was your place when in IL or FL. We had many fun dinners & game nights with friends, and Bob’s sense of humor was never outdone. Bob was more than a great friend, he was like a brother who we loved more than words can say. The best part of all, we had a spiritual connection through conversations & prayers. We know Bobby is now pain-free & in the presence of Jesus Christ. Save us a place…..we will be together again.
