Obituary
Robert “Bobby” Gwin Conly, 45, of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away on October 13, 2017 at his residence after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on May 16, 1972 in Hialeah, Florida. He was a Proud Veteran of the United States Navy and loved airboating in the Everglades. Bobby was the Owner/Operator of Boobidges Sandblasting and Painting for 23 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Kaitlin Conly; his children, Christian, Brooke, Logan, and Ethan Conly; his mother, Ruth Conly; his father, Chuck Conly; his brother, Davy (Shanna) Conly; his brother, Vern Conly; his sister, Melissa (Billy) Cobb; his 2 nieces, Jordan and Payton; and his 3 nephews, Gavin, Bryce, and Rhett. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Bobby to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America to help fund life-changing treatments, which he was able to receive because of them. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 2:30 pm at the Corkscrew Country Store, 19990 Corkscrew Rd., Estero, FL. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Affordable Cremations by Baldwin Brothers, Fort Myers, Florida.
I have done the best I can with I was left with. Its not something that should be a finger pointing, We are still dealing with the same problems that forced you to make your decisions.
You were right when you brought me the paperwork I left. All i can say is I tend to treat people how I want to be treated, and like I was told over and over during your whole lifetime....people don't have the same values and expectations as I do and I shouldn't expect that from them. Also, you can't make people listen and hear what you are saying.
I know what you wanted done and why. The only thing that couldn't be gotten past was the same demands and problems you dealt with for over a year and caused your decisions. When things fell apart we sat down and compared notes on what you wanted and why, and came up the the same answers. Your plan was solid to meet everyones needs with the least hassle, but it takes a team to do it and that was out of my hands. The fallout is just as bad as when you were in the hospital. All I can do is keep trying but it is probably a lost cause because there is so much hurt and anger. It is the same mess that we lived with for so long, and for the same reasons. But we tried...
