Obituary

Robert Dennis King, loving husband, father and stepfather passed away September 11, 2022.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Edna King of 47 years, daughter, Kari Reeger of Simi Valley, CA, half-sister Toni Williams of Strasburg, PA, 4 grandchildren Darryl Smith, Ryan, Stephen and Eric Wells, 4 great grandchildren Zachery Smith, Andrew, Kaylee and Trevor Wells, stepchildren Pamela Schoellerman, Linda Woehler Whitney (Doug), Lisa Woehler and William Woehler Jr. (Tracey), step grandchildren Joe and Jeff Schoellerman, Jennifer Denherder, Chrystina Woehler and Jeffrey Parnell and step great grandchildren Miles and Lauren Denherder and Callie Parnell. He is preceded in death by his brother Ronald King, his sister Roberta King, his father Robert S. King and his mother Dorothy S. Quigley.
Bob was born on March 22, 1935, in Lancaster, PA. Bob was a Korean Vet and served as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division of the US Army based in Fort Bragg, N.C. He retired from engineering with Martin Marietta in Orlando, FL. Bob was an active member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church and a devoted member of the choir.
A mass is scheduled for Tuesday September 20, 2022, at 11AM at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church (4000 S Atlantic Ave, New Smyrna Beach, FL, 32169) followed by a committal service at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, FL at 2:00 PM.
The family will have a reception to follow at Harbour Village Club House, 4622 Links Village Drive, Ponce Inlet, FL, 32127 at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of Flowers donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project www.woundedwarriorproject.org.

    Grandpa Bob we love you very much and are going to miss you so much. Since you’ve entered our lives, both you and Grandma Edna have been a huge presence and very active grandparents. Thank you for always including us, and making the time to always come visit. We had one heck of a time in Italy (that was definitely the trip of a lifetime). We hold very fond memories of you, and absolutely adore you and Grandma Edna to pieces. You will be greatly missed by us. We all love you very much! We will continue to talk to you in our prayers.
