Obituary

Robert Michael Klarman, age 56, went to the great pizza parlor in the sky on March 22, 2019, at Hospice’s Bradley House, in Summerfield, FL. Better known as ‘Bob’ to everyone, he was born November 26th of 1962 in Bay Shore, New York to Richard Arthur Klarman and Lynne Ayers Klarman. He is survived by his mother, Lynne Klarman, his four siblings Richard, James, Kathleen, and Holly as well as those dear to his heart, Natalie, Barbara and Red, and all of his nieces and nephews (to whom he fed a lot of pickles and desserts). Bob spent his childhood years in Medford, New York watching Tom & Jerry and idolizing Elvis, eventually growing up to work as a chef in pizzerias, as well as a hairstylist in salons. Bob moved to San Diego, California and worked construction, where he fell in love with the Coronado beaches and menudo. His final years were spent in Ocala, Florida, battling to stay cool in the sweltering summer heat, and relaxing by the fireside with his dog in the cooler weather only a Floridian would call winter. Bob will join his dogs Cesar, Duke, and Boomer, his father Richard Klarman, where they will undoubtedly disagree on how to fix the car. Bob will be cremated at the Baldwin Brothers funeral home in Ocala, Florida. If you wish to honor the culinary comedian, raise a slice of pizza in his name while marathoning the Superman movies (Christopher Reeve, obviously).  Donations should be made to your local Humane Society; or if you prefer, adopt a dog, particularly one who looks dangerous and unloved, but is really a big softie.
