Obituary
Robert L. Stanaford Sr., loving husband, father, and grandfather left this world to be with the Lord on November 9th, 2021 at the age of 83.
Robert was born to Virgil and Nelvina Stanaford in Painstville Kentucky on April 25th, 1938. He was one of 9 children: Brothers; James, Richard, Russel, Virgil, and Enoch. Sisters; Sandy, Ella, and Mary. He married the love of his life, Joyce, on September 1st, 1956.
Robert worked for 33 years at General Motors before retiring and driving a tour bus all over the United States. He dedicated his life to God in 1988, and was passionate in loving and supporting his family.
Robert is survived by his three beautiful children: Sheree Peterson and her husband Joseph; Robert Stanaford Jr and his wife Sheila; and Marty Stanaford Sr and his wife Belinda.
Robert was a loving grandfather to Bobby, Justin, Ashtin, Marty Jr., and Haley. A Great Grandfather to Savannah, Austin, and Maddie. Great Great Grandfather to Opal. Robert fiercely loved his many additional nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Private memorial to be held in Ohio.

Sister Joyce, you are in so many prayers. May God comfort you, give you peace, and wrap you in His love! You are greatly loved! I know that Brother Robert in rejoicing in Heaven. He is now part of the great cloud of witnesses that is cheering us on from Heaven. I look forward to seeing Brother Robert again in Heaven one day when those of us who know and love Jesus, will all be reunited again. What a day of rejoicing that will be!
I know your heart is broken separated from your love. Robert is like none other with his infectious smile, heart felt hugs, and beautiful words of encouragement enveloped in the presence of the Lord. The memory of his smile will warm my heart FOREVER!
You would light up the room with your presence. All our prayers are for you Joyce, God give you peace and comfort, know we love you dearly.
God has him in his keeping and we have Robert in our hearts forever
