Obituary

At Age 74, Robert Lee Hyder passed away at his home in  Umatilla, Florida, on August 14, 2024. Born September 13th, 1949. Robert was Survived by wife of 53 years, Carolyne Gordon Hyder. Daughters, Amy Lee Barrett, and Kerri Lynn Hyder. Grandson’s, Brock A Souders II, and Bradley C Souders. Granddaughter Haylie Paige Barrett. 2 Great Grandchildren Harper Faye Souders and Easton Lee Souders. He is also survived by his sister Mona Lisa Padgett, and brother Frank R Hyder, and 3 nephews. Robert was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a Devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather to his family. He was truly a HERO/ANGEL on this earth that provided for his family and will forever be missed! We LOVE YOU DADDY..

    I am not sure I have the right words, but I will try. Lee was not only a good husband to my sister but a father and grandpa. He was always there to lend a hand in the time of need and didn't know the meaning of the word no, as he would drop what he was doing to help out any way he could. He most certainly will be missed by all the Hyder and Gordon Families.
