Obituary
Robert Neon Beatty, 79, passed away April 1, 2020, at his home in Fort Myers, FL. Born April 11, 1940, in Louisville, KY., he was the son of Albert Thomas Beatty and Mary Clemma Adeline Tomerlin. Rob proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy from 1962 to 1968. He later worked both as a truck driver and school bus driver prior to retirement. He was a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society as a 3 time international champion with the Louisville Thoroughbred Chorus and the American Legion. He also won numerous bowling championships in the amateur bowling tour. Rob’s wife of 52 years, Carolyn Faye “Bumper” Beatty preceded him in death. Surviving are his daughter Angela Beatty (partner Pam Ringo) of Fort Myers, FL., son Joshua (Lee Ann) Beatty Sr. of Garfield, KY., grandson Joshua (Audrey) Beatty Jr. of Garfield, KY., granddaughter Courtney (Jarrod) Beatty Ashley of Hardinsburg, KY., grandson Cody (Amanda) Beatty of Garfield, KY., granddaughters Grace Beatty (boyfriend Mason Andrews) of Garfield, KY., and Kaleigh Ringo (fiance Harlan Piper) of Bowling Green, KY., and grandsons Wyatt Ringo (girlfriend Julia Stekardis) of Louisville, KY., and Emmett Ringo of Fort Myers, FL. As well as, 5 great grandchildren. Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society, Fort Myers, assisted with arrangements.
