Robert “Bobby” Edward Peront Jr.
03-02-1958 to 08-30-2020
Husband to William Balchunis
Brother to Maryann Foster, Nancy Estes, and Michael Peront
Best friend to Donna Wessman
Bobby touched everyone’s heart that he came in contact with. He had that beautiful spirit that people just gravitated to. No matter where he went there were always people he knew. If he didn’t know you then he would strike up a conversation with just about anyone around him. He loved people as much as he loved life.
He loved working as a butcher block manager at a grocery store named Albertsons. He especially loved working at Monroe Regional hospital as a materials tech. He would stock supplies in Nursery, Women’s surgical, Obgyn, and cardiovascular units. All the nurses there as well as the doctors, techs, and secretaries just loved him. He took pride in his work.
Bobby loved to fish and talk walks in his favorite park called Greenway. He loved a game on his tablet called Township. He lived his animals. He had dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and chickens.
Bobby loved life and was a fighter til the end. He was loved by his husband Billy. They were together for over 23 years. He was his savior and he will miss and love him always.
Please also include this poem that one of his friends sent me……
As I sit in heaven and I watch you everyday, I try to let you know with signs that I never went away.
I hear you when you’re laughing and watch you as you sleep I even place my arms around you to calm you as you weep.
I see you wish the days away begging to have me home, so I try to send you signs so you know your not alone.
Don’t feel guilty because you have a life that I was denied to me.
Heaven is truly beautiful just you wait and see, so live your life laugh again, enjoy yourself and be free then I know with every breath you take you’ll be taking one for me.
