Obituary

Robert Walter Pfeiffer, age 78, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, December 18th, 2019, he died at his home in Ocala, FL surrounded by his family. Robert was born July 14, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He served his country in the Navy and was married to Mary Carolyn (Saulsbury) for 59 loving years.

Robert began his working career with over 7 years in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era. After his service he moved his family to Cincinnati, Ohio where he retired from XTEK with more than 30 years.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Berthold Philip Pfeiffer& Mary Elizabeth (Hayden).

He is survived by his wife, 2 children Connie Pollington & Robert Wayne (Julie) Pfeiffer. Dear friend Karen Steele, 5 grandchildren Angela (Aaron) Brown, Michael (Amanda) & Bradley (Jennifer) Pfeiffer, Robert & Richard Pollington, 2 brothers William & Tim (Carol) Pfeiffer, One sister Kathy (Jim) Grover, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces & nephews, and lots of good friends.  He will be missed by family and many friends, but especially by the loving wife, Mary.

Robert’s interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 S.W. 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513 on Friday, January 10th, 2020. (Time to be determined) https://www.cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/florida.asp
