Grandpa Bob was truly one of the best men I have ever met. He was caring, strong, and there for us. My entire life he was an i My favorite memory will always be when he used to take me to their playgrounds where we would spend the day together and he would spin me around in the tire swings for what felt like hours. I could not have asked for a better grandpa. To me, Grandpa bob is an inspiration, and a hero and I will always cherish him and the memories we made forever.

The time I met and shared with Robert was short, but it was long enough to realize that he was a great person and it was a pleasure for me to have met him and his wife Jan. Rest in peace my friend!

My grampa was the smartest, most fearless, dedicated man. I am so blessed to have had him in my life. He is the example I look at when I think of an honorable man. The love he had for his wife and whole family. The charm and humor could never be replaced. The level of goofiness. His smile contagious. His laugh, loud and full. Hardworking and determined. He taught me so much. Taking care of butterflies, saving injured birds, teaching Sirena to swim, hearing all the fun stories of his past. I will miss him every single day. I love you Grampa. I am happy to know you're finally at peace and out of pain. Lover you forever we will miss you so very much. xoxox your Taylor Dayne.

As a young teen I met Bob. His handsome Robert Redfordish face stole my Cousin Jan's heart. 52 years later, he was still charming and wearing that big smile.
When he came to visit, he would excitedly talk about his bird, Pierre, and the Monarch butterflies he raised.
Bob was a kind, gentle, hardworking man who will leave a bit of emptiness in the lives of all that knew him.
Deepest sympathy to Jan & Cody as they navigate their path through this great loss.

My grandpa was truly the greatest man I have ever know. There is nothing he wouldn't do for us. One of my favorite memories is when we were all able to pull together and give him and my grandma their surprise 50th anniversary party. The look of pure joy and surprise on his face when he walked in is what I hold on to. We were all so blessed to have him as our grandfather. ❤

Easy going, unflappable and quick to smile, you could count on Bob having those qualities every time you saw him. Bob was a hard worker and a generous man married to my dear friend Jan. You will be missed by many, Bob.

    Sincerely,

Some of my best and most favorite childhood memories are of visiting Uncle Bob and Aunt Jan in Florida. I specifically remember the various funny sounds and impressions Uncle Bob would do seemingly effortlessly. He was the first and so far only person to take me on a boat, show me how to fish, and show me the deep ocean away from the shore. I will always remember catching a sting ray while fishing in the gulf and him calmly throwing it back in while I was freaking out. He was always a genuine man who cared about those around him. He will certainly be missed and always remembered.
