Obituary
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, mentor and friend Robert W. Busha entered eternity on December 1, 2021 following a brief illness.
Born in Flint, Michigan on November 11, 1943 to Elmer and Ruth (Sitts) Busha, he leaves behind wife Mary Busha; daughter Jill Busha and grandchildren Brianna, Julia, William, and Olivia; daughter by marriage Laura (Russ) Wagner and grandchildren Daniel, Nate, Tim, and Christina, and great-grandchildren Penelope, Oliver, and Alex; son by marriage Rob (Denise) Beckwith and granddaughter Faithlynn; son by marriage Alan (Sandy) Beckwith and grandchildren Andrew, Aaron, Kaitlin, David, Samuel, and Annabelle. He also leaves behind brothers David (Janet) Busha, Barry Busha, and sisters Mary Turner and Ruth Ann Busha.
Although he was gifted and accomplished in so many areas, his greatest gifts to those who came in contact with him were servant leadership and encouragement. Bob knew no strangers, and he never hesitated to fill a need if he saw one or to offer words of encouragement when needed. He will be greatly missed by many, but his legacy lives on.
No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s name to Alpena Bay View Center@www.alpenabayviewcenter.com or to The Give Back Community @www.thegivebackcommunity.org.
I so wish I’d had the opportunity to say goodbye to you and to thank you for all the encouragement you have given me. I wouldn’t be here doing grad school if it wasn’t for you. Your letter of recommendation helped get me here and your advice on how to create the best portfolio binder was what gave me the extra edge. Thank you for co-leading the church drama group with me at Meadowbrook, it truly was a divine encounter. I’m so glad you are now dancing in the arms of Jesus. I look forward to seeing you in eternity when my time comes. Until then you will always hold a dear, dear place in my heart.
