Obituary
Roberta Pauline Coburn was born on September 9, 1943, in Price, UT and passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the morning of September 12, 2023, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Roberta was preceded in death by her husband Donald Coburn, her father Aniano Trujillo before her birth, her mother Frances Bustos as well as her Daddy, Dionicio “Danny” Bustos. She was also preceded in death by her sister Ruby Miles and brothers Felix Bustos and Aniano “Gee Gee” Trujillo. She is survived by her children Mike Trujillo of Kingman, AZ, Yvette Howard (Eric) of Greensboro, NC, and Zeus Coburn (Denise) of Vicenza, Italy, her grandchildren Jennifer Hollenberger (John), Joshua Trujillo (Ashley) and Elisa Dominguez. Her Sisters Margie Larracuente, Donna Gonzalez (Roger), and brother Dean Bustos (Pam). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and many other close friends who also called her “Mama”.
Roberta loved spending time with her family every chance she had, and she loved them all unconditionally and sacrificially. Roberta had many accomplishments in life but her role as a loving mother and grandmother outshines them all.
Roberta did not want a funeral, but a memorial service will be planned for a future date. A special thank you to Tidewell Hospice Home in Port Charlotte, FL for their exceptional and compassionate care at the end of her life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Iglesia Manantial de Vida (Spring of Life), 912 Shady Retreat Ln., Iron Station, NC 28080.
